Saturday Night Main Concert Event With MIDLAND Presented By Pecos Valley Production

Join us for the main event at DeBremond Stadium on Saturday with Academy of Country Music Award winner Midland, Texas Country chart topper William Clark Green and former American Idol Contestant Laci Kaye Booth.

Note: UFO Festival events are rain or shine events. No refunds will be given for inclement weather.

Allowed on concert grounds: Lawn chairs, blankets, small clear bags.
Prohibited items: Coolers, outside alcohol, drugs and/or paraphernalia, weapons, fireworks/explosives, backpacks, bags, purses, or professional cameras/video equipment. Other items may be prohibited at the discretion of event staff. Small clear bags will be permitted, and a limited number of clear bags will be available at the gate for those who don’t have one. Must be 21 to drink alcohol.

General Admission $15. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. on July 2nd.

Alien Crawl

Take a tour around Roswell in the Alien Crawl party bus and experience some of Roswell’s finest restaurants, such as The Black Cock Brewery, Farley’s, Peppers Bar & Grill, Pasta Cafe, Pecos Flavors Winery & Bistro, and Antigua Cocina Mexicana for samples of alien themed beverages and appetizers. Choose from two separate tours that visit three of these establishments for an unforgettable local experience. The tour begins at the Alien Crawl bus stop on Main and 9th St. at the Roswell Convention Center and ends at the Galaxy Cantina, also at the Convention Center.

Awesome Alien Crawl includes a visit to Pasta Cafe, Peppers Bar and Grill, and Antigua’s Cocina Mexicana and leaves you at the Galaxy Cantina Beer Garden at the Convention Center.

Bad Alien Crawl includes a visit to Farley’s, Black Cock Brewery and Pecos Flavors Winery & Bistro and leaves you at the Galaxy Cantina Beer Garden at the Convention Center.

The early crawls will leave the Convention Center at 10 a.m. and head back at 2 p.m.
The late crawls will leave the Convention Center at 3 p.m. and head back at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $50.00 per person, 21 and over only. Ticket sales end 11:59 p.m. June 28.

Alien Chase After Thought: We have created another event called Alien Chase After Thought. Participants will race in the standard Alien Chase event, but receive a non-event bib and be mailed their race T-shirt and medal after the race. Please be patient, as materials may take 8-10 weeks to arrive. Notes: Alien Chase is a rain or shine event.

Future Shock Happy Hour and Film Screening

”A Machine to Live In” Film Screening, 7 pm

Come to a museum-style happy hour and enjoy the new science-fiction-inspired summer exhibition: Future Shock: (Re)Visions of Tomorrow. Relax in the courtyard and get a drink at the bar with exhibition-inspired cocktails, while enjoying a street taco buffet by local chef Melinda Creamer. Future Shock features 16 national and international artists whose work explores humanity’s shared future and our relationship to science, space and technology through a variety of formats including virtual reality, video, sculpture, installation, drawing and collage. Happy Hour tickets include food, a cash bar, after-hours gallery access and the 7 p.m. film screening in the museum’s auditorium. Future Shock and Denver-based artist Nicole Banowetz will also stop in for a performance.
Drinks for sale by credit card at the bar. Only ages 21+ may purchase and consume alcoholic beverages.

A Space Inspired Evening With the Giovanni String Quartet

The Roswell Symphony Orchestra, in partnership with the Roswell Museum and the RMAC Foundation, present the Giovanni String Quartet of Albuquerque for an after-hours performance in the Roswell Museum’s galleries during the 2022 UFO Festival. Music will be a space-themed arrangement inspired by the special summer exhibition Future Shock: (Re)Visions of Tomorrow and will feature classical music and compositions for popular films and television. Music will include Holst’s monumental masterpiece, The Planets. Written between 1914-1916 and 15 years before Pluto was discovered, its seven movements take listeners on an epic journey around the solar system. There will be a 15-minute intermission during the concert with a selection of desserts by local bakery Sweet Baby J’s. Tickets include the performance, after-hours gallery access, dessert and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages. All ages welcome.

UFO Festival Laser Shows and Sci-Fi Movies in the Robert H. Goddard Planetarium

Join us during the UFO Festival in the Goddard Planetarium at the Roswell Museum (1011 N. Richardson Ave) as we combine legendary music with laser light visuals. Enjoy music hits from Queen, Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and more, all under the Planetarium’s 40-foot dome. New this year, relax and take in a retro sci-fi movie projected on the dome at 1 pm on Friday and Saturday.

Night Sky Event at Bottomless Lakes State Park

Friday and Saturday night we will have a special guided stargazing event at Bottomless Lakes State Park to see and learn about the stars. Includes everything you need to view the stars. Parking will be at the Convention Center and a bus will take you out to the stargazing event. Tickets are $35.00 per person per night. 10 pm to 12 am
